HeyDoc!

Terms of Service

Effective November 7, 2026. Questions: support@heydocapp.com

HeyDoc! is a practice tool: AI patients for history taking, built from cases you write. It is for education, not patient care. Use de-identified cases only, keep to fair use, and you can cancel a paid plan at any time.

This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and HeyDoc! ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using HeyDoc!, you accept them, along with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you use HeyDoc! for a school or organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

What HeyDoc! does

You paste a clinical case, HeyDoc! turns it into an AI patient, and learners talk to that patient out loud in live voice conversations. Each conversation is saved as a written transcript you can read or download.

For education only

HeyDoc! is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Do not use it to diagnose, treat or make decisions about real patients.

The AI patient is generated by software and can be wrong: it may misread a case, say something the case does not support, or behave differently from a real patient. Treat every conversation as practice, and check clinical facts against trusted sources and your educators.

Your account

You must be at least 16 and sign in with your own Google account. Keep access to it secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

Your cases and transcripts

You own the cases you write and the transcripts of your conversations. You let us store, process and display them, including sending them to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only so that HeyDoc! can work for you.

You confirm that you have the right to use what you paste, and that it contains no information that could identify a real patient. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Fair use

Do not:

  • enter real patient data or anyone else's personal information without permission;
  • use HeyDoc! for anything unlawful, harmful, hateful or sexually explicit, or to produce such content;
  • try to get around talk-time, patient or rate limits, share one account between many people, or resell access;
  • scrape, overload, probe or attack the service, or use bots to reach it;
  • copy or reverse-engineer HeyDoc!, or use it to build a competing product.

The AI services we use have their own usage rules, and conversations that break them may be ended automatically.

Trials, plans and billing

New accounts get a free 3-day trial with one patient and three minutes of talk time. Paid plans are monthly:

  • Student, $12 a month: up to 5 patients and 45 minutes of talk time a month.
  • Educator, $39 a month: up to 10 patients and 120 minutes of talk time a month.

Talk time resets each billing month, and unused minutes do not carry over. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may be added where they apply.

Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, which sells the subscription and collects any taxes; Polar's terms apply to the payment itself. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and it applies from your next renewal.

Cancelling

Cancel any time with Manage billing on your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, then stops renewing. Your patients and transcripts stay available to read. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.

Changes to HeyDoc!

We improve HeyDoc! over time and may change or remove features. We aim to keep it available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free; outside services such as voice may also be unavailable at times. If we stop offering HeyDoc!, we will give you notice and time to download your transcripts.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using HeyDoc! and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is used fraudulently; where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first.

Disclaimers and liability

HeyDoc! is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it fits a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using its content.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia. If a dispute arises, please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and email you about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use HeyDoc! after that means you accept the new terms.
